Kalimat Positif

• Pertama, verb berakhiran ss, sh, ch, x dan o jika subjeknya adalah orang ketiga tunggal maka ditambahkan imbuhan es, bukan s. Misalnya, She kisses me. He does something bad every time. It sounds good.
• Kedua, verbs berakhiran y, sebelum akhiran itu adalah huruf consonant maka ubahlah y menjadi i lalu tambahkan es. Contohnya, I carry, he carries, she hurries.
• Ketiga, jika verbnya berakhiran y lalu diikuti oleh vowel maka formatnya kembali ke aturan semula. Misal, I obey, she obeys, I say, he says.
