However, achieving the ideal work-life balance can be challenging. Some individuals face prolonged working-hours due to socioeconomic factors related to their jobs, while others struggle with conflicting interests because they feel deprived of work or family opportunities. It has been recommended to set realistic short goals such as prohibiting oneself from checking the work emails after business-hours. Finding a more approachable balance is, however, a unique experience for everyone, as it is subjective in nature, and one has to realize it and then find appropriate practices that help in self-determination.
